Manchester United are monitoring 24-year-old Real Betis forward Troy Parrott and are reportedly considering a move worth up to €45 million during the winter transfer window.
The proposed deal is expected to be structured with a fixed fee supplemented by performance-related bonuses. The Irish striker joined the Spanish side on August 19th of this year from Dutch club AZ for approximately €20 million. Since his arrival, he has made 12 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists.
Despite the significant valuation, Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini is reluctant to let the player leave mid-season. The coach believes the forward's market value could increase further and is not interested in sanctioning a departure before June.
Manchester United are currently evaluating their options regarding the transfer, weighing their interest against the stance held by the Spanish club.
