Liverpool have initiated talks regarding a new contract for midfielder Trey Nyoni. Negotiations with the 19-year-old Englishman have been ongoing for several months, though a final agreement has not yet been reached.
Despite the lack of a signed deal, both parties remain optimistic about the progress of the discussions and expect to finalize the terms in the near future.
Nyoni's current contract runs until the summer of 2030. Nevertheless, the club is eager to solidify the youngster's long-term future at Anfield.
The midfielder recently gained attention after scoring in the previous Champions League match against Fenerbahçe, which ended in a 2-3 defeat.
