Amidst reports that Manchester City has filed an appeal against the Premier League's independent commission decision regarding financial irregularities, speculation has emerged about a potential return of Pep Guardiola.
According to sources, the Spanish manager could rejoin the club if their appeal does not succeed. Guardiola is reportedly planning to lead the team back to the top following the high-profile scandal.
Manchester City filed the appeal on October 1 and continues to deny all charges leveled against them. The case is now set to be reviewed by an independent appeals commission.
Guardiola left the club at the end of last season. During his 10-year tenure, he secured six Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy, cementing his legacy at the club.
