Vladyslav Kabayev: 'There was a lot of negativity, but now look at the scoreboard'

Dynamo Kyiv winger Vladyslav Kabayev shared his thoughts following the team's narrow 1-0 victory over Karpaty in the 8th round of the UPL. Despite a difficult match, the player emphasized the importance of the result.

Kabayev noted that the team felt extra motivation due to recent criticism:

A lot of negativity was said against us, we were hurt. And today we stepped onto the pitch and now we can look at the scoreboard to see who won. So, of course, it's nice to win, especially in Kyiv. Vladyslav Kabayev

Reflecting on the match, the player mentioned that scoring was the turning point in a tight game where neither side wanted to concede. The red card played a significant role in helping Dynamo manage the lead after finding the net.

Dynamo currently sits third in the league table with 16 points from 7 matches, with one game in hand. The team will return to action on October 18 against Polissya.
