Former West Ham goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko dies aged 64
Ludek Miklosko, a fan favorite who made nearly 400 appearances for West Ham in the 1990s, has passed away at 64.

Former West Ham, QPR, and Czech Republic goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko has died at the age of 64.
Miklosko was a cornerstone of the West Ham squad, making nearly 400 appearances for the Hammers between 1990 and 1998. He became a cult hero among supporters, who continued to chant his name long after he departed the club. Later in his career, he returned to the club to serve as a goalkeeping coach.
In December 2024, Miklosko withdrew from cancer treatment, three years after his initial diagnosis. Shortly thereafter, he made a poignant return to the London Stadium for a Premier League match against Liverpool, where he was greeted with a hero's welcome by the fans.
