Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice is close to finalizing a new long-term contract with the club. Negotiations are now in an advanced stage, securing the England international's future at the Emirates Stadium.
Since joining the Gunners from West Ham United in July 2023 for £105m, Rice has established himself as a cornerstone of Mikel Arteta's squad. His current deal was set to expire at the end of next season.
Under the new terms, Rice is expected to receive a significant salary increase, moving him into the same wage bracket as Bukayo Saka, currently the club's highest earner. England manager Thomas Tuchel recently praised the 27-year-old, labeling him as one of the elite midfielders in Europe.
This move follows the recent announcement that manager Mikel Arteta has committed to a new four-year deal with the club, signaling a period of stability at the top of the Premier League side.
