Getafe staged a brilliant comeback to defeat Sevilla at the Estadio Coliseum in their La Liga 2026/27 matchday 11 encounter. Despite falling behind to a Kike Salas goal in the first half, the hosts dominated the second half to turn the game around.
Enes Unal leveled the score after an assist from Martin Satriano, and just minutes later, the two swapped roles as Satriano found the net to give the hosts the lead. The match ended in frustration for the visitors, who finished with ten men following a red card for Manu Bueno in stoppage time, while Orel Mangala added a third goal to seal the 3:1 victory.
Following this result, Getafe moves to 12th place in the standings with 12 points. Sevilla remains on 17 points, sitting in sixth position.
Jose Bordalas’ team will next travel to face Villarreal on November 8, while Luis Garcia’s side is set to host Deportivo Alaves on November 6.
