Kai Havertz has etched his name into the record books, becoming the highest-scoring German player in Premier League history. The Arsenal forward reached the milestone after finding the net against Liverpool during their ninth-round clash at Anfield.
The decisive moment arrived in the 16th minute when Noni Madueke launched a counter-attack down the right flank, setting up Declan Rice. Rice delivered a precise cross to the back post, where the 27-year-old German converted to secure his place at the top of the charts.
Havertz now boasts 46 goals in 172 Premier League appearances, moving past Ilkay Gundogan, who recorded 45 goals in 221 matches. Pascal Gross currently sits third on the list with 34 goals in 256 games.
