Alessandro Bastoni open to Barcelona move, awaits green light from Flick

Inter Milan central defender Alessandro Bastoni is reportedly open to the possibility of continuing his career at Barcelona. According to reports, the Italian international is interested in a potential transfer, but he has set a clear condition: he wants a personal conversation with head coach Hansi Flick.

Bastoni is seeking assurance from the German manager that he is a vital part of the club's project rather than just a target identified by the sporting hierarchy. This dialogue is crucial for the defender, given his current standing at the San Siro.

Last season, Barcelona explored the possibility of signing the defender, with sporting director Deco even negotiating potential contract terms. However, the deal did not materialize at the time as Flick favored other squad priorities. Now that the Catalan club is searching for defensive reinforcements again, Bastoni remains among their priority targets.

Despite his willingness to listen to a new offer, Bastoni is content at Inter. As one of the team's captains, he is highly valued at the club and is under contract until 2028. His potential departure will largely hinge on whether the Barcelona coaching staff can convince him of his importance to the team's future.
