Como is actively working to facilitate the departure of Alvaro Morata as they look to manage their wage bill. The 1992-born forward is currently the highest-paid player in the squad with a gross annual salary of €8.33 million, a figure that has proven to be a significant hurdle for interested clubs.
With a contract running until 30 June 2029, Como has signaled they are willing to be flexible. Beyond a permanent exit, which would require a fee of at least €10 million, the club has given the green light for a loan move, specifically offering to cover part of Morata's wages for the club that signs him.
The search for a new destination has identified four potential paths. In Italy, both Lazio and Atalanta have emerged as options, with the Bergamo club looking for an alternative to Gianluca Scamacca. Internationally, Deportivo De La Coruna and an unnamed MLS club remain as potential destinations for the Spaniard.
