Tottenham Hotspur are continuing their search for a new goalkeeper following Guglielmo Vicario's loan move to Juventus. According to Sky Sports, the club has identified Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez as a potential target.
The 33-year-old was previously considered by the Turin side as a replacement option, but they ultimately finalized a deal for Vicario instead. Now, Spurs are looking into the possibility of bringing the Argentine to London.
Aston Villa may be open to a departure, having recently strengthened their goalkeeping options by signing Japanese international Zion Suzuki from Parma. Martinez has been with the Birmingham club since 2020, recording 13 clean sheets in 44 appearances across all competitions last season.
