According to ESPN Brasil, representatives from Botafogo have already held a meeting with the coach. The talks were reportedly positive, and the manager has shown a willingness to continue discussions regarding a potential appointment.
The club believes that the coach's extensive experience in Brazilian football and his professional background are vital for their long-term objectives. The parties plan to meet again in the near future to discuss contract details and terms of cooperation.
Currently, Rodrigo Bellão is serving as the interim head coach following the departure of Martín Anselmi.
