Chelsea star Cole Palmer hit with Twitch ban after EA Sports FC 27 blunder
Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has been banned from Twitch for streaming early-access EA Sports FC 27 gameplay, violating the developer's release embargo.

Chelsea star Cole Palmer has been suspended from Twitch following an unauthorized broadcast of the unreleased EA Sports FC 27. The 24-year-old bypassed the game's strict release embargo, showing off Ultimate Team packs and gameplay to thousands of viewers on Tuesday afternoon.
The stream drew an immediate response from the developers, with the official EA Sports FC account commenting in the chat: "Errr Cole, weren't we going to do this a bit later? We'll be live at 6pm UK!" Shortly after, the stream was cut short, and the channel was hit with a copyright strike, leading to the suspension.

Palmer, who later took to social media to cheekily appeal the decision, also used the stream to express frustration over his in-game ratings. He questioned why his overall stats dropped from 87 to 85, citing his injury-plagued campaign last season as an excuse for his lack of fitness. "I had one leg for ten months last season, what do you want me to do?" he questioned during the broadcast.
After struggling with groin and toe injuries throughout the previous term, Palmer has returned to full fitness and is enjoying a strong start to the new campaign. Alongside teammate Morgan Rogers, he has already contributed to four goals in the Premier League, proving his importance to the team. His focus now returns to the pitch as he awaits the outcome of his appeal to Twitch.
