Hakim Ziyech arrives in Brazil to finalize Botafogo move
Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech has landed in Rio de Janeiro to complete his free transfer to Brazilian club Botafogo.

Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech has arrived in Rio de Janeiro to finalize his move to Brazilian side Botafogo. The player received a warm welcome from fans at the airport, who gathered to greet the star with chants.
This marks Ziyech's first visit to Brazil. He expressed his excitement about the opportunity, noting that the country's football culture is something he has long wished to experience. The 33-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical examination at the Lonier training center today before signing a contract that will run until December 2028.

Ziyech brings extensive experience from his time in Europe, having played for Ajax, Chelsea, and Galatasaray. Most recently, he played for Moroccan club Wydad before mutually terminating his contract to pursue this new challenge in South America.
