Andriy Yarmolenko breaks UPL all-time goalscoring record

Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko has set a new benchmark in Ukrainian football, becoming the outright all-time top scorer in the history of the Ukrainian Premier League. The milestone 125th goal of his league career came in an away match against Kryvbas during the 11th round of the campaign.

The historic moment arrived in the 43rd minute. Yarmolenko confidently converted a penalty to double his team's lead, making the score 2:0 in favor of the Kyiv side.

With this goal, he surpassed the previous record held by Maksim Shatskikh, who netted 124 times in the competition. Yarmolenko now stands alone at the top of the league's historical scoring charts.
