Virgil van Dijk backs Andoni Iraola after Arsenal defeat

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has called for calm and patience regarding the work of head coach Andoni Iraola. Following the 0-1 home defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League, the Dutch defender insisted that the team requires time to adjust to new processes.

Van Dijk acknowledged that significant changes in leadership always bring a period of transition. He stressed that the squad must remain united to overcome challenges and prove their progress through actual results on the pitch.

When someone new comes into the building and things change, you just need time. You just have to work together, going through tough moments and good ones, and see how we deal with it. I am almost certain that everything will work out. Our fans see that so many improvements have happened over the last few weeks, but we also need results. Virgil van Dijk
