Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has set a new benchmark, surpassing the goal-scoring record of club legend Zinedine Zidane. The Englishman reached his 50th goal for the club during Sunday's La Liga match against Racing, finding the net in the 22nd minute.
Bellingham achieved this milestone in significantly fewer games than the French icon. The midfielder hit the 50-goal mark in just 154 matches, compared to the 49 goals Zidane scored over 227 appearances. While Zinedine Zidane played for the Spanish giants from 2001 to 2006, Bellingham only joined the club in the summer of 2023.
The achievement highlights the midfielder's impressive efficiency within the squad, which secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Racing under the management of Jose Mourinho.
