The organization announced on social media that the fighter was found unresponsive in his home while asleep. Early assessments suggest that a sudden heart attack is the most likely cause of his passing.
Despite immediate intervention by medical teams called to the scene, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the location.
Nascimento built a notable career in the bantamweight division, recording 22 wins and 7 losses over 29 bouts. Within the UFC, he competed six times, securing four victories before his unexpected passing.
