Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams was taken off the court on a stretcher after suffering a significant lower-leg injury during their 108-101 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. The incident occurred with 1:14 remaining when Williams drove toward the basket, causing his left ankle to turn at an unnatural angle.

Medical personnel attended to Williams immediately as he went down under the basket. The game was halted for approximately five minutes, leaving both teams visibly shaken. As he was wheeled off the court, Williams acknowledged the fans with two thumbs-up signals.

Thunder coach Mark Daigneault confirmed that the team would provide an update on Williams' condition on Monday morning. While no official diagnosis has been released, the necessity of a stretcher immediately following the play highlights the severity of the incident.

Teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander spoke emotionally after the game, highlighting Williams' dedication to the sport. Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt also shared a message of support on social media, wishing the player a successful recovery from this latest setback.
