Tyrell Malacia officially joins FC Cincinnati
Former Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia has signed a contract with MLS side FC Cincinnati until the summer of 2027.

MLS club FC Cincinnati has officially announced the signing of former Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia. The 27-year-old Dutch full-back joins the team as a free agent.
The contract runs until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend until the end of the 2027/28 season. Malacia departed the "Red Devils" last summer and has since been a free agent.
The defender struggled for playing time during his final season in England, making only three appearances for the first team. He will now look to restart his career in the United States.
The move comes at a crucial time for FC Cincinnati, who are currently sitting in tenth place in the MLS Eastern Conference with 32 points after 24 games. The addition of the experienced defender is expected to bolster their defensive options in the push for playoff contention.
