Pumas UNAM are close to securing a permanent deal for striker Robert Morales. Following a successful loan spell that began in early 2026, the club has reached an agreement with Toluca to acquire the player's federation rights.
According to sources close to the negotiations, the transfer fee is estimated at around five million dollars. The deal is expected to be finalized early this week once the player signs his new contract.
Robert Morales has become a key figure in the Pumas attack, scoring 15 goals in 39 appearances. During the 2026 Clausura, he led the team in scoring and helped guide them to the final. His consistent performances have also kept him in the selection radar for the Paraguay national team.
This signing will secure a reliable attacking option for Pumas for the next three years. Once the paperwork is complete, the Paraguayan forward will officially commit his future to the university side.
