In the 12th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Bukovyna and Kolos shared the points in a 1-1 draw. The visitors opened the scoring late in the first half through Denys Ndukve, but Oleh Kozhushko equalized for the hosts shortly after the break, assisted by Vitaliy Dakhnovskyi.
Bukovyna manager Serhiy Shyshchenko was pleased with his team's tactical structure, though he noted that they created enough chances to earn more than a single point. The coach explained that the staff had prepared thoroughly for Kolos' specific playing style, and the players executed the game plan well.
We played a good match today – dynamic and disciplined in both defense and attack. We outperformed the opponent in some aspects and created more opportunities. We had decent approaches to the goal, but as usual, we lacked a bit of quality in the final phase. Serhiy Shyshchenko
Shyshchenko explained that his team worked effectively to neutralize Kolos' pressure and exploit the spaces left by the opponent. "We took into account that Kolos has some issues in the transition phases from attack to defense. If we had been more clinical in those moments, we could have won," he added.
Bukovyna currently sits 10th in the league table with 10 points from 11 matches. This draw against Kolos marked their seventh tie of the current UPL season. In the 13th round, Serhiy Shyshchenko's side will travel to face Veres on November 22.
