Paris Prosecutor's Office opens investigation into Nasser Al-Khelaifi

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is the subject of a preliminary investigation opened by the Paris Prosecutor's Office. The inquiry centers on allegations of illegal conflict of interest.
The investigation follows a formal complaint lodged by the anti-corruption watchdog Anticor. The case has been assigned to the Financial Anti-Corruption Brigade (BFAC) for further scrutiny.
This legal development arrives during a sensitive period for French football, as the league navigates governance reforms and prepares for upcoming media rights tenders for the 2029–2034 cycle. The Paris Prosecutor's Office has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the ongoing investigations.
