Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has heaped praise on Achraf Hakimi following the team's emphatic 5-1 victory over Le Havre in Ligue 1. The defender was the star of the show, contributing directly to five goals by scoring a hat-trick and providing two assists.
The Spanish manager emphasized that he is well aware of the player's capabilities, noting that Hakimi plays a vital role in both defensive duties and the creation of attacking opportunities.
Hakimi is a captain. We know perfectly well what he is capable of. Essentially, he is more of a forward: he operates high up the pitch, knows how to find space and provide assists. When we have the ball, he is a pure forward. When we don't have the ball, everyone becomes a defender. Luis Enrique
This result reinforces PSG's dominance in the domestic league, with Hakimi's individual performance highlighting the tactical freedom he enjoys under Enrique. His ability to transition seamlessly from defense to attack remains a cornerstone of the team's offensive strategy.
