Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts following a dominant 6-0 victory over Villarreal in the Champions League. The Parisian side stunned the hosts with three goals in the opening 15 minutes, which the manager admitted shifted the dynamic of the match entirely.

"When you start a game like that, with high pressure and efficiency, the momentum changes. We didn't expect the game to unfold this way, but it is a testament to our mindset. We insist on playing our style regardless of the stadium or the scoreline," Enrique explained.

The manager was also visibly frustrated by a bizarre incident regarding substitutions, during which officials delayed his players returning to the pitch. "It was absurd! They should reread the rules of the game. It is professional football, not a children's game. I respect the referees, but these situations are simply ridiculous," he stated.

Despite the historic nature of the win—marking PSG's biggest-ever away victory in Europe—Enrique remained grounded. "These records do not matter much if we don't win the trophy. Our goal is the final. The real test will begin in February or March during the knockout stages," he added.

PSG currently sits atop the Champions League standings with 12 points from four matches. Enrique’s side is set to face Roma in their next European fixture on November 25 in Paris.
