Nahorniak on Kryvbas draw: A very positive result after our recent slump

Epicentr head coach Serhiy Nahorniak shared his thoughts following a 1:1 draw against Kryvbas in the 12th round of the championship. The coach believes the point earned is a vital step for the team's mental recovery after a difficult period.

The manager emphasized that his players showed character by equalizing after conceding early. He also noted the significance of the goal scored by Vadym Sydun, who ended his scoring drought dating back to late August.

Considering the slump we have been in recently, this is a very positive result for us. The guys did well: we conceded, equalized, and could have scored more. I hope we have hit rock bottom and will now only move upwards. Serhiy Nahorniak

Nahorniak pointed out that the team still lacks confidence at the start of matches. According to the coach, the excessive caution is a result of inexperience, though timely tactical adjustments allow the squad to overcome tough situations during the game.

With ten points after 12 rounds, Epicentr currently sits ninth in the league standings. The team from Kamianets-Podilskyi will face Chornomorets away on November 23.
