Kauan Elias: 'I played well but missed a few chances'
The Shakhtar forward reflects on the Champions League defeat against Sporting.

Shakhtar Donetsk forward Kauan Elias shared his thoughts following the team's narrow 0-1 defeat to Sporting CP in the 4th round of the Champions League league phase.
"I played well, but unfortunately, I missed a few chances. The most important thing is to always give everything for the team," the Brazilian forward said.

The player emphasized the need to work on mistakes upon returning to Ukraine. Elias noted that the team needs to improve their set-piece execution as well as their overall effectiveness in both defense and attack. He added that the coaching staff will help them refine these details in training.
Elias also touched upon his reunion with Luis Guilherme, a friend from his youth days in Brazil. "It is great to see Brazilians in the Champions League, as it demonstrates our strength and proves we are capable of reaching great heights," he added.
