Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has admitted that his side is currently struggling to maintain their desired performance levels throughout matches. Following a friendly against Monaco, where the Reds surrendered a two-goal lead for the second consecutive game, the Spanish coach highlighted significant work ahead.

Squad depth remains a primary concern as the season approaches. The match concluded with Luke Chambers and Wataru Endo in central defence, underscoring the current personnel shortage. While Virgil van Dijk has returned to the fold, the club is still finalising moves for reinforcements, including Ronald Araujo, who has completed his medical, and Jeremy Jacquet, who is recovering from a minor knee issue.
