Liga MX is actively exploring the possibility of hosting the Leagues Cup final on Mexican soil if Mexican clubs reach the title match. This push is intended to increase the neutrality of the event, which is currently heavily focused on U.S. venues.

While there has been no official response from the tournament organizers yet, the proposal is being discussed as a viable option for future editions. The league is looking to secure this change through at least 2029, citing the success of Mexican teams in recent seasons.

Regarding the domestic schedule, Liga MX is nearing the completion of the new calendar for Jornada 7, which had been postponed. The process has been complex due to logistical challenges, including travel arrangements, broadcast schedules, and avoiding conflicts with other key weekend events.

The rescheduling is fully supported by competition regulations. An official announcement regarding the specific dates is expected to be released shortly.
