Rio Ngumoha addresses Arsenal transfer links and provides Liverpool contract update

Liverpool wonderkid Rio Ngumoha has broken his silence on reported interest from Arsenal and discussed his contract situation at Anfield.

Liverpool rising star Rio Ngumoha has addressed the recent speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal. Despite the external noise, the 18-year-old remains fully committed to his development under head coach Andoni Iraola at Anfield.

Speaking after the recent win over Brentford, Ngumoha clarified the situation regarding his future: "To be fair, that is all with my agent now. I think it is all going well. I just let my football do the talking at the end of the day. I enjoy playing, and all of that stuff is in the back of my mind really."

Tied to the club until 2028, the winger is currently focusing on his tactical transition from the left flank to the right. "I am getting to grips with the right wing now, and I am liking it. It gives me a bit more unpredictability," he explained. "Andoni wants me to take on players in one-vs-one duels. He wants me to be threatening."

Ngumoha also credited his recent international experience under Thomas Tuchel for helping him refine his game. As he continues to compete for minutes in a squad boasting world-class attacking options, the youngster insists his mentality remains the same regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench.
