Former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has decided to leave Cremonese upon the expiration of his contract this summer. The 39-year-old made 29 appearances for the Italian club, recording seven goals and three assists, though he could not prevent the team from facing relegation.
Despite the end of his stint in Italy, Vardy is keen to continue his professional career. It is understood that he believes he can still compete at a high level, including potential interest in the Premier League. Among other clubs linked with a move for the veteran forward is Dutch side Feyenoord.
Vardy is widely regarded as one of Leicester's greatest players, having scored 200 goals in 500 matches for the club, including their historic Premier League and FA Cup triumphs. He also earned 26 caps for England, scoring seven times while representing the Three Lions at Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup.
