Ismail Ahmed enters the Guinness Book of Records

Egyptian basketball star Ismail Ahmed, who plays for the Lebanese club Al Riyadi, has achieved a historic milestone by entering the Guinness Book of World Records. At the age of 49 years and 243 days, he has been recognized as the oldest basketball player to record a triple-double in a single match. The feat was officially achieved on May 24 during a league match against Homenetmen Beirut. Ahmed shared the news of his certification on his official social media channels, showing him receiving the award during the interval of the decisive final game in the Lebanese Basketball League.
