Chornomorets Odesa head coach Roman Hryhorchuk reflected on his team's 1-2 defeat to Zorya. The manager noted that while the match was competitive, the lack of a positive result overshadowed the positives from his side's performance.
Hryhorchuk highlighted the need to analyze mistakes made during the game. Although Chornomorets managed to score from a set-piece, the coach emphasized that relying on such situations is not enough to maintain consistent performance.
The fact that we scored from a set-piece today is great, but I would like us to score from open play and play with more quality in attack. Roman Hryhorchuk
According to the coach, the main issue currently facing the team is a lack of technical quality in the final third. He acknowledged that the team is currently far from creating enough chances systematically but believes that this aspect of their game can be improved with consistent work on the training pitch.
