Barcelona secured a commanding 5-2 victory away against Real Betis in the ninth round of La Liga. This win marks a historic milestone for the club, as Hans-Dieter Flick's team has now won all nine of their opening matches this season.
With this achievement, the "Blaugrana" have equaled the record set by Real Madrid during the 1968/69 season. The Catalan side has also shown immense attacking prowess, netting 39 goals in their first nine fixtures, putting them close to the all-time record of 42 goals set by Sevilla in the 1940/41 campaign.
The schedule gets tougher for the league leaders, with a Champions League clash against PSG on October 20th, followed by a highly anticipated match against Real Madrid on October 25th.
