Kharkiv right winger Baton Zabergja shared his thoughts following his team's 2-1 away victory against Chornomorets in the eighth round of the Ukrainian championship. The 25-year-old Kosovan's goal proved crucial in securing three points in Odesa.
Zabergja admitted that the match was challenging but emphasized that the team executed their game plan effectively. He noted that while a red card for the opposition helped their cause, Kharkiv had been committed to their style of play from the start.
I think the match was a bit difficult, but all my teammates did their job well. We are happy that we got the three points. Baton Zabergja
This strike marks Zabergja's fifth goal in five consecutive matches for the club. With a total of five goals in seven league appearances this season, he currently shares the top scorer spot in the league with Polissya's center-forward Igor Krasnopir.
The player highlighted that his personal scoring streak is a result of collective team effort. He also mentioned that despite a two-week break for international duties, the squad successfully returned to good form to secure the result.
