Wales forward Hannah Cain has officially rejoined Everton. The 27-year-old moves to the Toffees as a free agent following the expiration of her contract with Leicester City, a club she left in June after their relegation from the Women's Super League.
This move marks a full-circle moment for the player, as Everton was where she signed her first professional contract back in 2018. She spent two years on Merseyside before her stint with the Foxes.
I am over the moon to be back. Goodison is such an amazing place and it is nice to finally be in it as a home team player. Hannah Cain
Cain, who has earned 26 caps for Wales, is a significant figure in her national team's history. She scored the crucial goal against the Republic of Ireland to secure their first major tournament appearance and also netted against England at the 2025 European Championships.
