Aston Villa is preparing a contract extension offer for Victor Lindelof. According to Aftonbladet, the club aims to keep the 32-year-old Swedish defender in Birmingham until at least the summer of 2028.
Lindelof joined the club in the summer of 2025 following the end of his spell at Manchester United. He has since become an integral part of Unai Emery's defensive setup, starting all eight of Aston Villa's Premier League matches this season.
Although the defender's current contract runs until 2027, the club has already informed him of their intention to sign a new deal. Parties are expected to reach an agreement soon, with an official announcement likely to follow at a later date.
