Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is being targeted for a potential January loan move. According to reports, Everton have expressed significant interest in the 28-year-old and have already initiated preliminary talks regarding a mid-season switch.

Everton's hierarchy and manager David Moyes are exploring a six-month loan arrangement, potentially including a future purchase option. Given the player's high salary, a loan deal is viewed as the most viable path for both clubs this winter.

The Toffees are hoping to replicate the success David Moyes previously achieved in helping players rediscover their form. Rashford is reportedly open to a move, following a difficult return to Manchester United after previous loan spells at Aston Villa and Barcelona. Despite receiving backing from manager Michael Carrick, the striker has yet to score this season.

His current struggles stand in stark contrast to his 2025/26 campaign at Barcelona. During that stint, he recorded 14 goals and 15 assists, playing a key role in the Catalan side's La Liga title triumph. However, the Spanish giants ultimately declined to trigger a 26-million-pound purchase clause.
