In the ninth round of Serie A, Juventus suffered a disappointing 2-0 away defeat against Genoa. Midfielder Weston McKennie spoke out about the performance, expressing his clear frustration with the team's display.
«The opponents were better than us, and that's why the result was what it was. We need to do more on the pitch. We are Juventus, and such inconsistencies in our game are unacceptable at a club like this. Juve has a great history. We need to find stability and start winning», — said Weston McKennie.
With 14 points after nine matches, Juventus currently sits in eighth place in the Italian league table. McKennie's comments highlight the urgent need for the squad to find the consistency required to compete at the top of the standings.
