The future of 16-year-old Manchester United midfielder JJ Gabriel remains a subject of intense speculation. Despite renewed interest from Bayern Munich, the player is reportedly favoring a career path in the Spanish La Liga.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Munich club has re-engaged with the player's representatives but has yet to submit an official proposal, as they have not received a commitment from the youngster to make the move to Germany.
Instead, Real Madrid and Barcelona are currently viewed as the primary contenders for the young talent. A potential club transfer is being eyed for January 2027, though it remains heavily dependent on the player securing a European passport.
Efforts to obtain Cypriot citizenship are reportedly underway to facilitate this, with alternative solutions also being explored should that path prove unviable. Manchester United continues to push to retain the promising prospect, but the intense interest from Europe's elite clubs has made negotiations increasingly complex.
