Emma Raducanu has been forced to withdraw from the US Open due to a stress fracture in her right lower leg. The injury was sustained during the grass-court season, which previously led the British No 1 to make a last-minute decision to withdraw from Wimbledon.
Following consultation with her medical team, Raducanu has concluded that she will be unable to compete in New York later this month as she continues her recovery process.
