Como set to extend contract with star striker

The Italian club plans to renew the Greek forward's deal until 2030 with a significant salary increase.

Italian side Como is preparing to extend the contract of their primary forward, Anastasios Douvikas. The club aims to secure the 27-year-old's future until the summer of 2030.

The Greek striker moved to Cesc Fabregas' squad early last year for a fee of 14 million euros from Spanish club Celta Vigo. Since his arrival, he has become a cornerstone of the team, playing a pivotal role in their attacking setup.

Douvikas has maintained impressive form this season, scoring eight goals in 11 appearances. Under the terms of the new agreement, which will replace his existing deal set to expire in 2029, the player's annual salary is expected to rise to 3 million euros.
