Napoli head coach Massimiliano Allegri expressed his frustration following his dismissal during the match against Roma. The coach insisted he said nothing to warrant the red card, with the fourth official initiating the decision. Allegri suggested he feels targeted for his touchline behavior, remarking that he might simply remain seated on the bench in the future.

Despite his anger regarding the officiating, the Italian manager praised his team's performance against a tough opponent. He noted that maintaining this spirit will help the club climb the league table.

I have changed my method. At the start of the season the situation was different, but from now on I will field four attackers too if I can. Massimiliano Allegri

Regarding squad management, Allegri hinted at a reduced role for Kevin De Bruyne, explaining that the Belgian cannot feature in every match given the options available in midfield, such as Stanislav Lobotka and Billy Gilmour.

The coach also commented on Rasmus Hojlund, praising his work rate despite his current goal drought. Additionally, he confirmed an injury for Benoit Badiashile, with medical staff set to assess his condition over the next 48 hours.
