Bayern Munich are preparing to make another attempt to acquire 18-year-old Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha. According to insider Christian Falk, the German giants are actively working on a potential deal for the young Englishman after previous negotiations proved too complex during the summer transfer window.

During the summer, the Munich side decided to focus on signing Ismael Saibari when talks for Ngumoha stalled. However, the player remains on Bayern's shortlist, and club representatives maintain regular contact with the player's camp.

In the 2026/27 season, Ngumoha has established himself in the first-team setup at Liverpool, making 13 appearances across all competitions, including outings in the Champions League. Currently valued at 50 million euros by Transfermarkt, he is under contract with the Merseyside club until June 2028.

Should another deal with Liverpool fail to materialize, Bayern have identified a secondary target. The club is monitoring the progress of 21-year-old RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa, who is considered an alternative option should the pursuit of Ngumoha prove unsuccessful once again.
