Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo will be unavailable for the upcoming matches, including the highly anticipated El Clásico against Real Madrid. The 28-year-old sustained a muscle injury during the Champions League away game against PSG in Paris.
Olmo started the match at the Parc des Princes but signaled discomfort in the 27th minute, forcing him to be replaced by Fermín López. Medical tests confirmed an injury to the adductor muscle in his left leg, with an estimated recovery time of approximately four weeks.
This absence is a blow for the Catalan side, as Olmo has been an integral part of the team's attacking setup in the 2026/27 season. He has made 12 official appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal and one assist.
The timing is particularly difficult ahead of the clash on October 25. Despite the setback, Barcelona enters the fixture as the sole leader of La Liga, maintaining a perfect record after nine rounds.
