Juventus' Under-23 side secured a 1-1 draw away to Southampton in the Premier League International Cup, thanks to an impressive strike from Davide Marchisio. In the 68th minute, the 17-year-old collected the ball in the attacking third, drove forward, and unleashed a powerful, precise right-footed shot that found the top corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Davide, the son of Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio, was born in 2009. A lifelong Bianconeri player, he has progressed through the club's youth ranks from an early age, winning the Under-16 Scudetto along the way. He operates as a midfielder, capable of playing in central roles, as an inside midfielder, or as a mezzala.

Since last September, Davide has been on an official two-year contract with Juventus. Playing for the Under-18s this season, he has already registered three goals. His development has caught the eye of the senior setup, with Luciano Spalletti inviting him to train with the first team on several occasions and even fielding him in a friendly against Cremonese during the recent international break.
