Barcelona management has initiated plans to offload Frenkie de Jong during the upcoming winter transfer window. Sporting director Deco and club president Joan Laporta are reportedly exploring options to facilitate a departure for the 29-year-old midfielder.
The club is seeking a total financial package of 50 million euros plus 15 million euros in add-ons. Barcelona officials hope that interest will emerge from clubs in the Premier League or the Saudi Pro League.
Last season, de Jong made 38 appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal and eight assists. His future at Camp Nou has become a focal point of the club's squad optimization efforts.
