Liverpool defender and captain Virgil van Dijk has highlighted the exceptional contribution of Mohamed Salah to the team. According to the Dutchman, the consistency the Egyptian winger has maintained over several years is an achievement that will be difficult for others to replicate.
What Mo has done for so many years in the winger position, I don't think anyone can repeat. Now it's time for others, and they have to show what they can do. Virgil van Dijk
The captain also emphasized that Liverpool must not dwell on past successes. He believes the club must continue to move forward, and the current players must consistently prove their quality.
We can always think that it was better before, but that is not the mentality that should be in a club like Liverpool. The club will always move on, and there are always players who will shine. These players who are here now have to show it every three or four days. Virgil van Dijk
