Udinese midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo has completed his injury recovery and returned to training with his teammates. Having spent just over 20 days on the sidelines, this return comes after Zaniolo also missed a month of action earlier in the season.
The player has been officially cleared ahead of schedule and has made himself available to the manager for the upcoming clash against AC Milan. The match is set for Sunday, October 25, at the Bluenergy Stadium, where Udinese are desperate to snap a run of five consecutive defeats that has dragged the Friulian side into the relegation battle.
Despite his availability, there are concerns about managing his physical condition. It is unlikely Zaniolo will be able to play for a long duration, and the club faces the risk of losing him again if his return is not handled carefully. While starting him would bolster the side's attacking threat, introducing him from the bench could be the safer approach to protect him from a potential setback.
