Legendary defender Andrea Barzagli has expressed deep concern regarding the current state of Juventus. According to the former star, the club has been unable to establish the stability required to build a consistently successful team.

Barzagli pointed out that Juventus has cycled through three different management teams in recent years, yet none have managed to lay a lasting foundation. He noted that the successful Juventus sides of the past were built on long-term continuity, whereas the current approach of attempting to reshape the club annually has not yielded the desired results.

For years, Juve have faced difficult changes. It would be great to achieve an important result with a group that has been together for a few years and can lay a foundation. In all these years, nobody has managed to lay that foundation to start again and create the Juve of old. Andrea Barzagli

Regarding Italian football as a whole, Barzagli highlighted a deficit of "generational talent." While he acknowledges there are good players working hard to improve, he believes the Italian system is slower compared to foreign leagues in integrating 18-to-20-year-olds into first-team football, which hinders the development of top-tier players.

Barzagli also reflected on his time in Turin and his experience working under coaches like Antonio Conte, Massimiliano Allegri, and Maurizio Sarri. He emphasized that despite their different management styles and personalities, they all shared an incredible work ethic and a winning mentality that defined Juventus during his tenure.
